2024 Fall Campout (BASE ITEM - Attendees #1 and 2)
The Fall Campout for 2024 is going to be on Saturday November 2 through Sunday November 3, 2024.
Rain or Shine.
Plan to arrive around noon on Saturday if possible to start setting up camp.
Sunday activities usually finish up by noon, unless you need to leave earlier.
At least one parent/guardian must be in attendance for the Scout to spend the night. If not staying the night and only staying for the events on Saturday and Sunday Days, parental/guardian attendance is not required.
All immediate family members are invited to attend as well as sleep over if they choose (parents, guardians, siblings, etc)

Activities will include:
Cub Scout Memory-Box Making and Decorating
Pack Meeting
Nature Hike
Propane Campfire (weather permitting)
Movie Under The Stars (weather permitting)
Dinner, Breakfast, and drink provided
Other activities may be scheduled as well such as:
Team-building Games
Skits
Camp Cooking lessons/demonstrations
Map Reading/Compass use or other learning activity TBD
NOTE:
Unfortunately BSA does not allow Cub Scout Packs to register for BB shooting anymore and Cub Scouts are only permitted to shoot at County Council Shooting Events so we were not able to get the BB Range like last year. Other activities are being scheduled in its place.
New Jersey is currently at an elevated risk for the spread of wildfires. Therefore, Stage 3 Fire Restrictions are currently in effect statewide. This means “All fires will be prohibited unless contained in an elevated stove using only propane, natural gas, gas, or electricity.” Also, “No charcoal fires are allowed.” The Pack is hoping to be able to use an elevated propane fire ring as a camp fire.
Cost:
The cost for the campout is PER PERSON (Adults and Scouts/siblings)
Fee covers the cost of the campsite, food/beverages, and the BB-Gun facility.
